‘Handcrafted in Sicily, made for the world’ Baaria delivers quintessential luxury, an Italian café encompassing the Sicilian experience. Serving handmade artisanal bakery products, we work exclusively with Italian sourced ingredients to bring the ‘Mignon’ to the UK. Baaria is inspired by co-founder Alessandro’s family business - Il Fagottino; a Sicilian street food café where the adventure started in 1990. Il Fagottino became an obligatory stop on the Bagherese nightlife scene and after more than 30 years it is still a key meeting point for the next generation of families and young people. The name ‘Baaria’ is thus derived from the small town in Palermo - Bagheria - where Alessandro’s interest in hospitality, food and drink originated.
