We spoke to some office managers in our network and discussed why they think offering lunch is a good office perk. As office managers, they found that providing lunch for employees brings numerous advantages that significantly improved their workplace. Here’s why offering lunch is a great idea according to them:

1. It boosted focus

Since employees didn't have to worry about finding or preparing their own lunch, they saved time around lunch and could stay focused on their work. Eliminating the need to leave the office or spend time ordering food means employees can quickly return to their tasks, leading to a more efficient workday.

2. They had happier employees

Their employees felt taken care of and like their well-being was a priority. This simple gesture made employees feel appreciated and valued. When people feel looked after, they are generally happier and more content with their jobs, which can lead to better performance and less turnover.
