Set up a photo booth and decorate with some Union Jack props.

This is a great way to get everyone in the spirit of celebration! For starters, you can put up some bunting. The more the merrier! And don't forget the Union Jack flags. They look great hanging from windows or from the ceiling, while photos of the royal family will help create a real sense of occasion.

With a little imagination, you can transform even the most mundane office into a fitting tribute to our much-loved monarch. Whatever you do, make sure you have fun and enjoy celebrating our amazing queen's special milestone!

Organise some fun games like 'pin the crown on the queen' or a scavenger hunt.

What's a celebration without some fun and games? Get everyone involved in your Queen's Platinum Jubilee festivities with activities like cricket or rounders, or even a treasure hunt around the office. For starters, you could set up a trivia game with questions about the queen and her reign. You could also have a dress-up day, where everyone comes to work dressed as their favorite British royal. If you want to get active, you could set up a relay race where teams have to complete tasks like putting on a crown or waving a Union Jack flag. You could even plan even a treasure hunt around the office!

Look for a 50p coin

If you're lucky, you may find a 50p coin with the queen's platinum jubilee head on it. These are special coins minted to celebrate the occasion, and they're quite valuable. So keep your eyes peeled next time you're out and about! You never know what you might find.

Put some british music:

Take inspiration from the Queen herself! In 2016, during an interview with BBC, Her Royal Highness revealed her top 10 favorite tracks. The list includes everything form Musicals to Mainstream songs without any airs or graces:

  • Anything You Can Do (Annie Get Your Gun), Dolores Gray and Bill Johnson
  • The White Cliffs Of Dover, Vera Lynn
  • Sing, Gary Barlow and the Commonwealth Band feat. the Military Wives
  • Praise, My Soul, The King Of Heaven (hymn)
  • Lester Lanin Medley
  • Oklahoma! Howard Keel
  • Leaning on a Lamp-post, George Formby
  • Regimental March, Milanollo
  • Cheek to Cheek, Fred Astaire
  • The Lord is My Shepherd (hymn)

Alternatively, you can create a public playlist on Spotify or Apple Music and ask everyone attending to add a few of their favourite tracks in there.

Movies from the tradition

And of course, no celebration is complete without a selection of classic films. Screening movies like The queen, Shakespeare in Love or Slumdog Millionaire during lunchtime or after work will get everyone in the celebratory spirit.
